Institute of Technology Cambodia
The Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) is Cambodia’s leading public higher education institution specializing in engineering and technology. Established in 1964, it was originally named Institut Technique Supérieur de l'Amitié Khméro–Soviétique (ITSAKS) and collaborated with the Soviet Union from 1964 to 1975 and again from 1980 to 1991. In 1993, it was renamed to its current name and was managed and operated by France from 1993 to 2004. Since 2004, the institute has been directly overseen by Cambodia’s Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, becoming a fully autonomous center for training engineering and technical professionals. As the country’s premier institution in engineering and technology, ITC has trained a large number of skilled professionals for Cambodia.
