UNESCO-ICHEI is committed to promoting the digital transformation of higher education institutions in developing countries in Asia and Africa, thereby expanding opportunities for lifelong learning and quality, equitable education.
UNESCO-ICHEI initiated a series of flagship projects aiming to sustainably support the quality and equitable development of higher education, including the digital transformation and the effective integration of AI technology into the higher education system.
UNESCO-ICHEI brings together partners from HEIs, EdTech enterprises, government agencies, and international organisations, creating an international ecosystem that promotes the global digital transformation and AI application in higher education.
UNESCO-ICHEI endeavours to provide a theoretical and operational basis for the digitalisation and AI application of higher education. UNESCO-ICHEI collaborates with higher education institutions and international organisations to conduct readiness analysis and regional studies, and independently conducts project-based research, drawing on successful experiences.
