In March 2025, the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI), in collaboration with WPS SOFTWARE, donated WPS AI membership accounts to Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria and Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia to help improve their office work efficiency. Ahmadu Bello University is a leading research university in Nigeria, while Addis Ababa University is the largest comprehensive university in Ethiopia. This donation continues the collaboration between UNESCO-ICHEI and WPS SOFTWARE, aimed at empowering education equity and high-quality development in developing countries.

The WPS membership account will provide efficient functions such as cloud collaboration, PDF editing, and multilingual compatibility for teachers and students, helping with teaching management and scientific research innovation. Since 2020, UNESCO-ICHEI has collaborated with WPS SOFTWARE to deliver digital educational resources to the Asian and African regions through the IIOE platform and Smart Classroom project. This donation further demonstrates the practical achievements of Chinese technology enterprises in supporting global education equity.
